About Liesl

My dad is a minister and musician. My mom, a counselor and hypnotherapist who now runs a metaphysical gift shop, taught me meditation when I was like in 3rd grade or something. I first played with tarot cards and runes in the 4th grade with my mom and 3 older sisters. I started having vivid, classic "shamanic" type dreams and visions in early childhood (though it would be many years before I learned enough to recognize these experiences as such); as well as sustaining numerous illnesses, traumas, and injuries. These experiences instilled in me a voracious appetite for esoteric knowledge, and led me to the study of various forms of philosophy, healing, metaphysics, spirituality, astrology, divination, etc., in an effort to make some sense out of it all. It would have been pretty impossible for me to lead a "normal" life.

My experience of "reality" didn't seem to be in sync with those around me; I had "paranormal experiences" and awareness of things which I realized, most other people didn't generally have. I felt like the proverbial "stranger in a strange land". You know, Saturn on the ascendant, hehe. When I was 17 a dear friend died suddenly, and I was able to receive communication with his spirit ( as was my mother, in a separate confirmation of my experience, and many other people he knew also had bizarre experiences ). How could this happen? So from a young age, I was on fire to know the "true" nature of reality, consciousness, and energy.

You can view my natal astrology chart here.

I have kept a dream journal and log of visions for many years. I began writing poetry and music at age 13, which basically document my dreams and visions. The first song I ever wrote was about the unseen subtle energies I was perceiving during an altered state, lol. For me, music and poetry has been my meditation, and a nourishing dialog with spirit.

You can see some of my poetry, lyrics and music here.

I went to massage school in 1983, at age 18, following my interest in bioenergetics. I had a great synchronicity when I discovered that the one massage therapist listed in the phone book in the small Idaho town I was living in was just starting up a new massage school. And he turned out to be Mark F. Beck, who later was commissioned to rewrite Milady's massage therapy instruction manual, Theory and Practice of Therapeutic Massage.

I have formally and informally continued my studies in healing ever since. The study of radionics/electronic healing and energy healing led to the creation of the Rose Program, which is how I do readings now.
